University of South Bohemia in the Czech Budejovice received a grant to implement a joint project of two leading research organizations in the South Region - University of South Bohemia in the Czech Budejovice (hereinafter JU) and the Biology Centre ASCR, (hereinafter BC) called "South Bohemian University and Academic CTT . "The project seeks to underpin rigorous research potential in the workplace JU and BC and the subsequent application of the results generated by the application domain.

The main objective of the project:
The main objective of the project is to build a multi-functional platform for the promotion and popularization of research, development and innovation, a platform for cooperation of selected key regional partners with a strong involvement of business and public sector in the Region.
 
Sub-objectives of the project
1) The provisions and commissioning JCTT respectively. KTT KTT BC JU and the subject of activity is the development and provision of two mutually cooperating workplaces, on the JU (KTT JU) and on the BC (BC KTT) as essential organizational elements of commercialization within JCTT. Security is also a part of the organizational and administrative anchoring sites within each institution and define the conditions for mutual cooperation of both departments incl. provisions related organs needed for effective transfer of technologies (eg., the Steering Committee, the licensing board, etc.).
 
2) Pilot operation JCTT respectively. KTT KTT JU and BC
Pilot operation of CTT respectively. KTT each will run for two years and is a parallel activity to support individual cases of technology transfer. The pilot operation is primarily intended to check the rules of the system settings TT (commercialization) within JU and BC, and also evaluate the cooperation between the two institutions CTT. The second reason for the application of the pilot operation is to increase the competencies of the staff offices TT selected through internships, vocational training, mapping the needs of researchers and subjects the application sphere and practical implementation of commercialization plans in relation to individual R & D results. Part of the sub-goals is also drafting licensing and BC JU fund (fund commercialization), its provisions and ensure that conditions of management.
 
3) Support for a selected number of research with potential application on the market
The subject of activities is the identification and verification of individual R & D results with the greatest potential market application (the highest level of market maturity) and pilot-controlled assistance to these results in the context of partial commercialization plans; incl. the necessary financial resources, provision of conditions for the industrial law protection, analysis of market application, finding partners, possibly preparing spin-off companies and brokering the sale or assignment of a license.
 
The main output of the project:
The overall outcome of the project will be functioning CTT. The basic function of CTT will supply interconnection technology (R & D capacity) and stimulating, activating and satisfying demand technology (ies application sphere).

CTT analysis of the functioning of workplaces in the Czech Republic and abroad, incl. Recommendations for KTT KTT JU and BC respectively. CTT.
Comprehensive draft provisions KTT KTT JU and BC inc. coordination of the two offices within the CTT.
Securing material and technical conditions for the provision and KTT KTT JU BC.
The provisions of the final organizational forms and filling of positions Managing Authorities and CTT workers. respectively. KTT KTT BC JU and conditions for the start of pilot operations.
Completed internship and training of workers and KTT KTT JU BC
Secured membership in regional, national and international organizations, incl. partnership agreements.

Impacts of the project:
CTT will ultimately provide a comprehensive portfolio of services ranging from mapping research potential and its underpinning, to practical application of significant inventions made in the workplace and JU BC or of any other regional or industry-related entity to the acquisition and implementation of long-term contracts and contractual joint Project partners with the application sphere.
