Project GAMA TAČR

The project called Strengthening of Activities Proof-of-Concept at the University of South Bohemia is supported from the Programme of applied research, experimental development and innovations of GAMA of the Technological Agency of the Czech Republic.

The aim of the solution of the project is to strengthen the co-operation with the subjects of the application sphere by the means of:

support and an important increase of efficiency of the process of transfer of new knowledge between the university and the application sphere with a view to expecting the reduction of the support of this sphere from public sources in the future,
rising the share of results utilizable for the application in practice,
registration and finishing the important technical solutions in the departments of the University of South Bohemia, the implementation of their protection related to industrial law and the security of the following processes necessary for a real use,
increasing and strengthening of a mutual co-operation between the University of South Bohemia and a commercial sphere (especially small and medium firms)

The aim will be achieved through the complex system of the support of commercialization.

BASIC CONDITIONS FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF PARTIAL PROJECTS FROM THE PROJECT THE STRENGTHENING OF ACTIVITIES PROOF-OF-CONCEPT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH BOHEMIA:

The sense of the project is to evaluate and check the supposed application potential of already achieved results of the research and development at the University of South Bohemia by means of so called partial projects which will be chosen on the basis of round summons.

The term of supported projects is within 6 – 36 months and the maximum amount of the support of one partial project is CZK 1,000,000.

The supported partial projects should lead (in accordance with the valid Methodology of Evaluation of Results of Research Organizations and the Evaluation of Finished Programmes) to the achievement of at least one of kinds of results mentioned below:

P – patent;
G – technically implemented results – prototype, functional sample;
Z – pilot plant, checked technology;
R – software;F – industrial and utility sample

The checked results of an applied research and experimental development must have a commercial potential, the support is not condemned for financing of a research.

Employees of the University of South Bohemia and students of the University of South Bohemia can apply for the support, too.

The administrative support of the Council is The Office of Transfer of Technologies, the boss of The Office of Transfer of Technologies is at the same time the secretary of the Council for Commercialization (without the right to vote).

The partial projects must be handed in a form “Top sheet of a partial project” together with a structured CV of all the researchers.
